Control and measurement periods in dynamic mechanical analysis
Dynamic Mechanical Analysis consists of applying sinusoidal signals in terms of stress/strain and measuring strain/stress as the response of the material. To impose these sinusoidal signals, the DMA instrument controls the sinusoidal signals and measures the response in a way, which is of prime importance to understand. This understanding helps in better and optimized use of this characterization technique.
In this example, the measurements were performed by customizing the number of control and measurement periods to precise the results.
